MUSTAKIF STARTED HIS CAREER IN AVIGRA COMMUNICATION GROUP AS A GRAPHIC DESIGNER FOR 9 YEARS. HE WAS INVOLVED WITH THE CREATIVE PROCESS OF SOME OF WELL-KNOWN BRANDS SUCH AS SINARMAS GROUP, OCBC NISP, BCA, BRITISH PETROLEUM TANGGUH PROJECT, DANAREKSA, VICTORIA BANK, AND MANY OTHERS.
At the same time he also developed a career in video production with Castle Production, one of Avigra Communication Group subsidiaries. His next career move was joining Satu Atap, Activation Division Artek and Partner, as the Creative Head and was involved in various activation projects from Unilever, Sampoerna, Saralee, Johnson&Johnson, Vaseline, Pond's, Pepsodent, Knorr, Sariwangi, Sarimurni, Avolution, A Mild, and Marlboro. After 4 years, he joined MakkiMakki Branding Consultant in 2009 as the branding designer group head, and is mainly in charge of directing and managing large-scale branding projects.
Aside from his career as a graphic designer, Mustakif pursued his passion by sharing his knowledge and becoming a staff lecturer in graphic design institutions in Jakarta and Yogyakarta.
